Siso Foundation is a 100% black owned, and is registered as a close corporation. It is run from South Africa and in Gauteng with the intention of expansion to other provinces. It is staffed by small group members, who work cooperatively on projects, supported by administrative staff. The cooperative style to project work, particularly project conceptualisation and planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, is driven by our conviction of the relative advantage of multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving.
This is opposed to the single-expert approach, which has characterised development work for many years. Siso has a multidisciplinary staff of specialists in donor support as well as policy/regulatory analysis and institutional development. Our senior consultants have 15-20 years of hands–on experience covering the entire continent of Africa. The members take the ultimate responsibility for the timely delivery of good quality product. Our primary focus is undertaking development oriented assignments for/with the following clientele/development partnerships:
